Amazing day (Norwegian style)
Alexandra is in Stockholm this weekend. Since she is still not 100% converted to Norwegianism (meaning that she doesnt love cross country skiing yet :) ) I thought I could use the opportunity to go skiing with my parents. We drove to Frognerseteren in Nordmarka, a little mountain overlooking Oslo. It was amazing; blue sky, sunny and lots of powder snow. Jef Mallet has said: "Writing well mean never having to say, 'I guess you had to be there.'" I still have to say; you had to be there! Well, I know that Im not a great writer, but I dont think any writer would be able to describe todays experience.
(Almost)Nothing can compare to the greatness of nature experiences like that. It was funny to see how different people were behaving because of it. Everyone were smiling, greeting people they have never met before(normally unheard of in Norway), and so tolerating when others made mistakes in the tracks. We took a trip that is 25 km long and had lunch at a cottage halfway(Ullevaalsaeter). Even though it is quite straining to go cross country skiing, it felt really good to be out in fresh air for a whole day. My batteries are now recharged:)
I had to call Alexandra and tell her how amazing it is to go cross country skiing. Im confident that she is really excited to join next time, right Alexandra? :)

Winter Wonderland
It has been snowing continually in Oslo for the last two days. The clouds finally cleared up tonight. Im guessing there is 50 cm of fresh powder snow, and combined with the snow already on the ground from earlier there is probably almost a whole meter of snow outside! It feels like we have used half of our weekend just shuffling snow off our car.
Last night we had planned to see the movie Benjamin Button together with Thomas, Ida, Christoffer, Maria, Paul and Karolina in a cinema in Oslo. But all train-, bus- and subway-traffic was shut down due to the heavy snowfall. Thanks to serious rally skills of Thomas and his silver Peugeot we were lucky to get there in time:)
The movie was long, but interesting, Brad Pitt did a good job in his role. Most important; it was an exiting and fun evening with good friends.

Friday night at home all by myself
Tonight i´ve been home alone. I started with cleaning the whole apartment - now it´s shining! :) Then i cooked dinner for me - chicken breast with couscous, mushroom, peppers and broccoli! It was yummy! I ate dinner in front of Let´s dance on TV. I love that show. After dinner i painted my nails with brown nailpolish! I usually don´t take time to those kind of things. But it´s really nice to do something for yourself once in a while!
When Espen comes home (which is in a few minutes) we´re gonna watch a movie and eat candy! :) Looking forward to that. I´m really glad that the weekend is here, i NEED it. Tomorrow morning we´re going to go swimming. That is a nice tradition that we have. Enjoy the evening!
